Summer 2015 Professional Learning

Power Week One begins next week - June 8-11

Important reminders as we begin our summer learning next week:
- Review the attached flyer to see session titles and dates. Full course descriptors are available in Workshop - https://eduphoria.wylieisd.net
- Confirm session times and locations in Workshop
- Unregister for sessions you are unable to attend prior to the session start time
- Complete the course survey within 7 days of the session end time
- All professional staff must accumulate a minimum of 12 Professional Development/Comp Time hours between June 8, 2015 and January 15, 2016 to be used for the August 14 and January 18 Exchange Days. All professional development applicable to exchange days must be completed during off- contract time (summer, evenings and/or weekends) and documented in Workshop
- Bring your teacher laptop as a learning tool to your summer learning sessions!
- Use the following Twitter hashtag to post what you are learning this summer! #wisdpd

Additional instructions for sessions hosted at Wylie East High School:
- MOST professional learning sessions will be hosted at Wylie East High School this summer. BUT please double check Workshop for specific location information for your sessions
- Please park in the BACK of the campus and enter the building by the Cafeteria. We need to keep the front lot open for campus visitors and new students registering
- For the week of June 8-11, MOST sessions have been scheduled in the 100 hall, which is on the west side of the campus
