Bear Necessities
Vol. 1, No. 23
Our return to classes inside our school went very well last week. Remote instruction is not the ideal situation but our teachers and your children did an amazing job! Most of you also played a large part in your child(ren)'s success those two weeks. Thank you so very much!
We are continuing with our abundantly cautious practices surrounding COVID-19. Some families have traveled and are continuing to quarantine. This includes travel at any time, not just over Christmas break. Contact Nurse Pelosi for specific details about the timeline for your child if you have or will travel.
We have other families in which our students or their household members have been identified as close contacts or they have tested positive for Coronavirus. This can happen at any time. Again, please be sure to report this to Mrs. Pelosi so she can discuss quarantine with you. She can be reached at epelosi@scbpschool.com or (856) 829-2980.
We are all experiencing COVID fatigue but we must continue to engage in safe practices to keep everyone healthy. We are optimistic that relief is ahead as many people have scheduled their first round of vaccines. Let's continue these efforts! They have helped us keep our school doors open. Our success in providing in-person instruction is the result of everyone's cooperation.
God Bless,
Cynthia Smith
Early Registration Ends Friday
Early registration for our current families continues this week. We want to give you the chance to register your child(ren) for 2021 - 2022 before regular registration begins on Sunday, January 31.
All current families received an email outlining the process for early registration. If you have a child in preschool, that registration fee (early = $225) is for your entire family. That one fee also covers any K-8 children in your family. If you have a child(ren) only in K-8 you pay the other rate (early = $150).
Regular registration fees begin January 31 for all families, new and returning.
K-8 families = $175
Families with a preschool child = $250
Your re-registration form should be emailed to Mrs. Glass at mglasss@scbpschool.com and your fee sent to school in a clearly marked envelope.
