why did they write the declaration of independence

They made the declaration of independence so they could break away from the British and king Gorege

There unalienable rights were Freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happyniess

First complaint was that he put taxes on them and the second complaint was that he made them house soldiers and third complaint was that he use his power way to much
