SAP Teams
By working collaboratively on a SAP team we will cover a lot of learning by having teams share out periodically throughout the year. I am excited to learn more from all of you!
Stars and Wishes
Stars:
- Reading, reading, reading! Mrs. Burns has some fun ideas to promote reading and there have been many books out with students while I visited classrooms! YEAH!!!
- Data collection and goal setting! Mrs. Hampton showed me a great form she created for data collection this year and a place for goal setting when she meets with her students! Share with your teams ways you plan to do this:)
- Daily 5 and/or reading rotations are up and going in many classrooms! Wow! The organization and engagement level has been high! I got to see Mrs. Conroy and Mrs. Hightower's students in their rotations doing a great job!
- ELA resources visible and in action - keep it up! It is aligned to the Missouri standards and we need to move the needle in reading - this might be the answer. Hitting all the standards is key!
Wish:
- Does your schedule reflect the importance of math and reading instructional time? Make that the main priority:)
