We are doing ATV safety! ATV accidents are the maggoty of off road deaths for children under 16 years of age. We think it is very important to inform you all about ATV safety! So we hope you enjoy our poster and have a great day!!

Fact and Staties
- between 1982 and 2008, 9,633 people have died in ATV accidents.
- 516 of these fatal ATV accident victims were in California
- 2,588 of these victims were under the age of 16 (over 1,100 of these were children younger than 12)
- Children under the age of 16 account for 27% of all ATV accident fatalities
- In the last 10 years, the number of children killed in off-road vehicle accidents increased by 88 percent
Prevention Statements
- Wear protective gear
- Stay on trails!!!
- Ride only in daylight
- 1 person per four wheeler
- ages 12-16 should have limited usage
- follow all trail rules
- don't drink or do drug before riding an ATV
