If you are prone to cramping, drink 8oz about 1 hour before race.
TEAM SPIRIT
Wear your NCS Cross Country apparel for practice on Tuesday and Thursdays!!!! Running is hard, and you need everything to help you run. WEARING TEAM COLORS is a great way to encourage one another!!!! If you don't have the suit wear the colors!!!!!
CHAIRS
Bring a chair to the meets!!!
BREATHE
Don't forget to breathe! The past 2 weeks I have seen kids have anxiety attacks because they forget to breathe while running. A good tip: For 2 strides breathe in through your nose and the next 2 strides breathe out through your mouth. Repeat.
