From the Principal's Desk
Hello DiPietro Families,
I am sharing the link to outline this last week of school. Please keep your children engaged with the events the teachers have planned.
I wanted to share a fun event we were able to pull-off yesterday. With the help of their families, the DiPietro staff were able to surprise our 3rd graders with a car parade at school. Since we couldn't celebrate IN school, we celebrated AT school (in some way). We, the staff, had a wonderful time and were grateful for the opportunity to wish our amazing 3rd-graders well as they continue on to a new adventure at BMS! You'll be great! A huge thank you goes out to the Memory Day Committee as they created some wonderful gifts and amazing yard signs for the 3rd graders. I've added a few pictures below.
Thank you all for a wonderful first year as the principal of DiPietro elementary. The pandemic threw us for a little loop, but we dealt with it. I'm not exactly sure how our fall will look, but we will keep you updated as decisions are made by the Re-Entry Committee. A huge thank you to the DiPietro staff for their support and guidance as we navigated this year, and especially these last 3 months! Have a great summer everyone!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Your principal,
Miriam Friedman
