Are You a Leader?
Edge Student Leadership is open to all 10th and 11th grade students in Morgan County. The program was created to expose students to leadership opportunities in a creative and challenging manner, providing the students with the tools necessary to develop individual leadership skills. The program also encourages students to be a positive influence in their schools and to serve in the community. A commitment by the student and school administrators of one day a month for eight months is required, beginning in August, 2024.

Wednesday, May 1st (B Day) - National College and Career Decision Day - wear your college/career gear; photos and signing day poster near Alumni Hall
Friday, May 17th - Meet at 8:30 in the auditorium for the senior walk to feeder schools and then we will have the senior picnic and faculty v. senior basketball game
Tuesday, May 21st - Graduation Practice from 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Ogle Stadium and graduation ceremony at Ogle Stadium on May 21st at 7:30 pm. Seniors meet in DHS arena at 6:15 pm. Inclement weather relocation will move the graduation ceremony to the DHS arena and seniors will receive 8 graduation ceremony tickets if there is a threat of inclement weather; photos will be made of graduates receiving diplomas and of graduates off stage with diploma; proofs will be emailed to each senior after graduation from the Zap Photo company.
If you are not normally at school during the Opportunity period, please make arrangements to be there on 10/19 (B Day) for the panoramic picture and on 10/25 (B Day) so that you can receive all the necessary information about graduation purchases.
