How to update your contact information

SchoolMessenger Notifications

Goose Creek CISD wants to send you phone calls, emails, and text messages through our Parent Notification System. Please make sure your contact information is correct in Parent Portal.

Step 1: Log in to Parent Portal

  1. www.gccisd.net
  2. Click on Student and Parents
  3. Click on Parent Portal
  4. Opt-In Via SchoolMessenger Code 67587


Please contact your campus office if you need help with your username or password.

Parent Portal Login

Click this button to directly take you to Parent Portal.

Step 2: Click on Edit Contact Info Tab

Once you select your first student, please click on Edit Contact Info Tab.

Step 3: Update in Parent Portal

Click Blue Edit Button:

Verify phone number and make sure:

(Goose Creek CISD recommends these settings)


Alerts Off is not checked

Permission to Text is checked


After you have updated, please SUBMIT CHANGES.


This change will update all students connected to your Parent Portal account.


If you opt out of General Notifications by checking the Alerts Off button, you will only receive Emergency Notifications.

Step 4: Text "Subscribe" to 67587

If you would like to receiving messages from your school or district you must reply affirmatively with one of the opt-in key words. Simply send a text message to 67587 with either the words “opt in” or “subscribe”.


Participating carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile®, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Alltel, Boost, U.S. Cellular™, MetroPCS and other carriers.

Opt Out Option:

If you ever decide you don't want text messages anymore, please go back and "uncheck" the Permission to Text button and text STOP to 67587.
