Learning about the world!
Panama is a multicultural society. Its diversity is rapidly expanding with families from around the world settling into our small but lovely country.
The children need to be culturally sensitive and learn that we all come from different countries but we all live in peace and harmony together.
Being culturally aware is more than being nice and friendly to families of different ethnic backgrounds, it’s about being willing to learn about and understand to the best of our ability’s another’s belief system, world views and life values.

PAINTING FLAGS
UN DAY 2014
A picture is worth a thousand words
IT IS ALL ABOUT BALLS!
This week after all the UN Day Activities, we had time to play bowling inside the classroom.
Bowling is a wonderful sport to develop gross motor skills as well as eye/hand coordination. We enjoyed bowling at school. Ms. Ginni showed us how to roll a ball and knock over the pins.
We also used balls to paint and to mixed primary colors like blue and yellow. This activity was based on the book Little blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni.
BEAUTIFUL NATURE OUTSIDE OUR WINDOW
Can you believe that this is the view from our window?
Our garden is so beautiful that all the visitors that come to ISP have to make a stop and take their picture with the amazing sunflowers.
We are also growing green peppers and celery.
PROUD OF OUR GARDEN
THANK YOU FOR TEACHING US ABOUT BRAZIL!
Thanks to Ms. Raquel (Eric's mom) for coming to our class on Thursday to teach us a little bit about Brazil!
We enjoyed a story in Portuguese and we even danced some Samba!
