PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Kia ora everybody
You are all warmly invited to the Dances for Schools show this Friday at 1pm under 'The Cloud'. Our tamariki have been working really hard with expert dance instructor Omar and are sure to put on a great show. See you then!
A big thank you to Miss Tupai for organising last week's noho. Nga mihi to the parents who stayed overnight and those who turned up for the evening hakari. A great time was had by all.
Next Monday is School Photo day. Uniforms need to be in good order with no random under garments such as tights and thermals visible. Hair combed/ brushed, teeth brushed, and breakfast wiped from faces please kids. I will be sending a reminder notification early Monday morning, just incase you forget over the weekend.
Congratulations and thanks must also go out to the PTA for their recent efforts with the chocolate bar fundraiser. It was very successful with close to $4000.00 raised towards the new playground. project. Thanks everybody for getting in behind it.
A reminder that it is a Teacher Only Day next Friday the 4th of June. School will not be open on this day.

ASSEMBLY
No assembly this week due to Dances in School performance at 1pm.
PHOTOLIFE STUDIOS
We are having our school photos on Monday 31st May. Photolife will be taking class, individual, sibling, netball and student leader photos.
Please ensure your children are in the correct uniform, no pink, purple or striped undergarments.
BOOK FAIR
We will be up and running from tomorrow morning, come along and support our book fair in the studio (by bus bay). Opening from 8.15- 9.00am & 2.00pm - 2.45pm.
MONEY (CASH) COMING INTO SCHOOL
All money coming into the school eg. trips, fundraisers etc needs to be handed to the classroom teacher so it can be marked off against the child's name in the cashbook. This is a safe guard for everyone. If you wish to hand money into the office then this is at your own risk as we have no check off method. Please ensure that all bags or envelopes are labeled with child's name and class clearly on the outside.
ONLINE PAYMENTS
Please ensure when making online payments to school, PTA or netball club that you use the correct bank account and also a correct reference. These are all seperate bank accounts and are not connected to each other. Before making payment please check that you are using the correct bank account. The bank account number to use is on the forms which come home e.g. PTA chocolate fundraising info had the PTA's bank account number on their form.
PTA NEWS
PTA Whittaker's Chocolate Fundraiser - We still have some money raised/and or chocolate bars outstanding. Please bring these back to your child/children's classroom teacher as soon as possible.
Disco- All pre-order forms and money to be returned to school by Wednesday 2nd of June. Please have these in a named envelope or zip locked bag and returned to your child's/children's classroom teacher. Consent forms which must be brought to the Disco will be sent home on Friday 28th of May. Parents are welcome to stay at the Disco!
