Principal's Corner
Dear BVL Families,
I have written end of year notes for 20+ years in my professional career but none ever feel adequate, this year especially. I am torn because while I am ready for a break and the opportunity to rejuvenate, I know that the end of this year also brings many goodbyes. From the bottom of my heart thank you and go forth with an extra bit in your heart from all of us at BVL.
With tear filled eyes and hugs from afar, k

Saving Student Work
OneDrive
Files saved to the student’s OneDrive will be accessible next school year. If the student saved files to the Desktop or Documents folders on the PC, and they want to save those files to their OneDrive (otherwise they will be deleted during reimaging) please follow the directions in this video to move the files to OneDrive. Click Here
SeeSaw
The end of the school year is here and I would like to make sure you have the chance to save any work your student posted on Seesaw before their current year’s class is archived (on June 24th). This is especially important if one of your children is a 5th grader as they will be removed from Seesaw in their transition to middle school.
Follow these directions if you want to download a zip file of everything in your child's Seesaw Journal.
Or if you would like to download and save SPECIFIC posts, follow these directions on a computer or a mobile device:
1. Go to the specific post you want to download/save.
2. Click on the 3 dots in the bottom right.
3. Choose Save.
Lexia and Dreambox
Unfortunately, we will not be able to loan district devices to students over the summer or support the use of Lexia and Dreambox beyond the last week of school. This is probably disappointing news for many but we are optimizing summer staffing and resources to facilitate the collection, cleaning, and reimaging of thousands of student devices in preparation for next fall.
