Big thanks to Dawna for sharing her creativity in using her CSA items and for sharing the
beauty of her creations with us! Her pictures sure made me hungry!

When I see zucchini, I think of GG's zucchini bread or my mom's fried zucchini. With some zucchini in your share this week, you definitely need to check out this fabulous resource below. (Now I am dreaming about Savory Zucchini Asiago Tomato Scones!) This treasure trove of zucchini brilliance was shared with us by Debbie. Thank you, Debbie, for passing along great ideas!
Have you made something you'd like to share? We would love to show off your photos

Corn-on-the-Cob
Sometimes the best part of the day is a good joke! Not sure if this one is "good" or not, but here it is...What do you get when you cross a corn cob and a cow? Any guesses? Ready for the answer?? Drum roll, please! Corned Beef! Well, if that didn't make you smile, I am sure that enjoying some freshly harvested corn on the cob will! This is from our good friends, the McMaster family, out in Columbiana. We think they grow the best corn around! If you want more of this summertime favorite, taking a drive to their farm is worth it!
Blueberries
We had some delicious recipes for blueberries last week, but they were geared to the half pint quantity. This week, your share contains a quart of these little blue bits of deliciousness. So, check out these ideas for whipping up a scrumptious treat! We've even found one that combines blueberries and fresh corn...unexpected but possibly yummy!
Homemade Basil Pesto
One of the things our crew enjoys doing every year is making this fresh pesto for CSA day. It is amazing how much flavor can be added to a variety of recipes by using this simple basil infusion. Pesto isn't just for pasta anymore!
