Corner Middle School Welcomes Back Students for the 2021-2022 School Year
We are SO EXCITED that our students are coming back to Corner Middle School tomorrow morning! Summer has come to a crashing halt as our fifth through eighth graders march through the doors which open at 7:25 AM. As students arrive they will be met by teachers who will show them where to go, give them a schedule for the new year, and assist them as needed.
This past year was challenging to say the least! We expect obstacles to come our way in the days ahead as a result of the continuing effects of COVID-19 on our state, nation, and world. Our teachers and staff have spent the summer preparing for the year ahead. We truly believe this will be an amazing year as we focus not only on your student's academic achievement, but their social emotional learning as well.
If you are one of the 27 families who have not completed the online registration process, we ask that you please contact us tomorrow. We can assist you if you need help completing the forms. Thank you to all of the families who have their students ready to go on day one!
Our hope and prayer is that each of our students, faculty, and staff -- as well as their families -- are able to avoid any health issues that negatively impact their school year. We look forward to working with you all as the school year progresses!

Thank You, Local Churches for All That You Do!
We want to take this opportunity to truly thank the men and women of Bethel Baptist Church who served all of the schools in the Corner Feeder Pattern with their work on the inside and outside of all our schools last weekend to help us be ready for our students' return!
In addition, we greatly appreciate the cards and treats from New Temple Baptist and East Walker Church of Christ! They were a hit with the teachers and staff!
And to all of the men, women, and students who organized and participated in the Community Prayer Walk on Sunday, thank you for blessing our school with your prayers, words of encouragement, and kind thoughts in the wake of our opening!
We appreciate all of the support for our students, faculties, and staffs in our schools from our local houses of worship!
