Brrrrr....
Science and Engineering Day - February 14th
It's that time of year again, when we have the opportunity to welcome students from the FLIGHT Academy into our school. The sixth, seventh and eighth grade students have planned design challenges that our students will participate in on Thursday, February 14. The Hillcrest students will be choosing their own schedule of events for this day.
We could use your help in collecting the supplies that we need for the design challenges. Please see the Sign-Up Genius link for a list of supplies.
There are also some items that we are asking our families to collect. Please try to save the items listed below and send them into school:
- Cardboard - various sizes and weights
-Bubblewrap
-Bottle caps
-Newspaper/magazines
We need all supplies to be delivered to Hillcrest by Friday, February 1 so we can sort them before the big day.
Thank you so much for your help. The students really love this special day!

Safe Arrival - Available Now!
1) By far the easiest way to interact with the new system is by downloading the app on your phone and signing up for an account.
2) If you are not an app user and prefer to use your computer signup and login at https://go.schoolmessenger.com/
3) The phone option is still available by calling the attendance line at school. There will be a menu there to transfer your call into the new system. You may however, want to use the direct number 1-866-490-7371. By dialing direct from a phone that is registered with the district, the system should recognize the number you are calling from and be able to quickly identify your children and allow you to confirm their absence.
