May Warriors of the Month

Congratulations to the May Warriors of the Month!

Second grader, Cano Dzaferovic is extremely responsible, gets all of his work done and is staying in touch with his teacher via email during this remote learning time. Keep up the great work Cano!

Tenth grader, Brianna Leishear is hard working, dedicated, and compassionate. She is a natural leader, driven, helpful, positive and a good friend. Well done Brianna!

Remote Learners of the Week

WAJ would like to acknowledge students who are being successful with remote learning each week. The first two Remote Learners of the Week are third grader Eric Rallatos and 10th grader Serena Beckmann.

Eric has 100% excelled during this time. He completes every assignment on time and has even completed the extra, fun, hands-on activities. Eric takes his time with his writing and has made huge improvements during remote learning.

Serena attends live sessions for class with a great attitude, asks questions to better understand her work, and she is turning in all her assignments.

Congratulations Eric and Serena! Keep up the fantastic work!

The 4 Helpful Lists

Here's an idea to help you evaluate and solve problems. On a piece of paper write the answers to these 4 questions relating to anything you are struggling with:

What's right? (what can you optimize)

What's wrong? (that can you change)

What's confusing? (what can you clarify)

What's missing (what can you add)

We hope it helps give you some clarity and direction.
