Liberty Creek Families

Liberty Creek Families,

Happy Daylight Saving! We hope you enjoyed that extra hour over your weekend. It is hard to believe parent/teacher conferences are right around the corner. We always look forward to meeting with our families as it is a time for us to share all the great accomplishments your child has achieved and to share the goals we will be working on over the next several months. We truly appreciate your partnership and look forward to connecting with each of you.

We have a lot planned between now and winter break. Please be sure to read everything in our newsletter as there are a lot of important dates and activities coming up.

Take care,

Mrs. Alsaker

Principal

BRRR...

As the temperatures drop over the next few weeks please make sure to send your child with the appropriate clothes to go outside such as hats, gloves/mittens, winter coats, boots, and scarves. Also, we ask that you label each item with your child’s name as our lost and found continues to grow in size.

We make every attempt for them to go outside and get fresh air, unless the temperature is 20 degrees or colder. If this happens, we keep our students inside during this time.

In the event, we receive a winter snowstorm, our district will send a communicate update. You can also check the www.cvsd.org for up-to-date information for school closures or delays.

Safety is always our top priority, especially when it comes to our students and staff. This year we have had the opportunity to practice fire/evacuation drills and an earthquake drill. This week we will be have a lockdown drill. We understand this can be scary to our young learners, however, our teachers do an amazing job at pre-teaching how to be safe in a lockdown situation. If you have any concerns about this, please don’t hesitate to email or call me at aalsaker@cvsd.org
