Congratulations to the JLP Raider team for taking 2nd place at the Creswell Cadet Challenge! Bladen Harnly was honored as the top male out of over 100 competitors!

Assembly

We will have an assembly on Wednesday, October 4 at 2:00. District Attorney Andrew Womble and Judge Meader Harriss will speak with students about substance abuse, social media, and decision making. We will run an assembly schedule on Wednesday and move 3rd period Bruin Success to Friday.

L.O.C.K.S. 5K Run

Attention all runners, walkers, and crawlers! L.O.C.K.S. will be sponsoring a 5K run on November 5th. L.O.C.K.S. does a lot of great things for our schools. More information can be found on the flyer---------------------------------->

Spirit Week

Spirit Week will take place the week of October 9th and will consist of the following days:

Arts Council

Our art students will have an art show to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the North Carolina Arts Council on Tuesday, Ocotber 3rd. See the flyer for details.

Staff Handbook

The Staff Handbook can be found in Canvas. Please review this before the start of school. The Staff Canvas page also contains videos and step by step instructions for Educator's Handbook, Aesop, Travel Tracker, etc...

Emergency Lesson Plans

Emergency lesson plans are to be added to your Canvas before the start of school. These plans should contain your daily schedule, class rolls and seating charts, lesson plans with instructional activities relevant to the course objectives that could be used at any time and that cover three days.
