U of R Autism Studies Opportunity
The Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center is offering Webster CSD families the opportunity to participate in several ongoing studies involving autism spectrum disorder. Overall, U of R researchers are working to understand the brain network differences that might appear in children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as compared to children who have not been diagnosed with autism. The U of R’s research will focus on understanding sensory and attentional processes of autism in order to help improve early identification, target remediation to improve outcomes, and to understand the underlying neurophysiology of autism.
Potential Webster CSD participants must be children ages 7-17 years who either have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder OR children who have not have not been diagnosed. If you are interested in having your child participate in this voluntary study, please contact cogneurolabrochester@gmail.com or call (585) 275-1674.
Thank you in advance for your consideration!
