Job Duties/Responsibilites

  • Examine,diagnose,and treat patients' teeth.
  • Remove decay from teeth and fill cavities.
  • Repaired cracked or fractured teeth and remove teeth.
  • Straighten teeth to correct bite issues.
  • Provides advice and information on taking care of teeth and gums.

Work Environment

  • Dentists usually work in offices indoor.
  • Some dentists own their own businesses and work alone or with a small staff.
  • They wear masks,gloves,and safety glasses to protect themselves and their patients from infectious diseases.

Days and Hours Worked

  • Fulltime dentists spends at least 36 hours per week.
