Due to a recent change in Smore's email server, the last two Weekly Growls were not delivered to your inbox. The list below represents Bucket Drops over the last three weeks.

A belated DROP in a BUCKET to Mrs. Irma Bauer and all of the students interviewed by UNIVISION and for representing Hernandez Middle School in the greatest way possible! Way to go Mrs. Bauer for communicating in Spanish!!!!

- Jayson Sherman

Drop the Water for Akea Powell & Ryan Smosna for joining me in taking on interdisciplinary!

- Desiree Le

Kudos to the 8th grade SPED team and Cecilia Azulay. We knocked the SSI paperwork out like true champs! :)

Kudos to the whole SPED dept! This year has been GREAT and it's all due to the great team work by the dept! Thank you for being AWESOME!

- Caitlin La

Drops in the bucket to the 8th grade science team, the 8th grade ELA team, Mr. Shuck, Mrs. Cole, Mrs. Moorhead, Mrs. Winnek, and Mrs. Dominguez for allowing us to use their rooms for Math SSI pullouts. Thank you for being team players :)

- Laura Terry

Thank you, Jeremy Thompson, for helping with the Track Awards!! We really appreciate it!

- Nompumelelo Tshuma-Masuku

I love my 6th grade ELA team. Thank you to Sofie Vastano for being a constant support despite the numerous things she juggles every day. Thank you to Natalie Nichter-Ramirez for always making me laugh. These ladies are a big part of why I love coming to work.

- Jennifer Bacak

A big thank you to Cherri Urban for holding down the fort all by herself while I was at TLA. I couldn't do it without you!

- Wendy Tucker

Thank you to Yvette Bradford for your guidance and wisdom. Thank you to Deb Torres for your willingness to help me in all sorts of way. Thank you to Cecilia Azulay for taking on all that paperwork by yourself! And for collaborating with our wonderful SPED team. Thank you to Kathleen Hoeber for getting me all the data I needed for a very special circumstance. Thank you to Matt Keeter for being a great sounding board. Thank you to Chenita and her FOCUS gurus for working tirelessly at whatever is thrown at them. You all make working here a pleasure!

- Lyndsey Pounds

Thanks to Kadia Koch and Ryan Smosna for representing Hernandez Middle school at the Outer Limits Showcase. Only one other school, a high school, showcased their digital art and the makey-makey exhibit by our students was a big hit. We also had the opportunity to showcase Space Dogzz entry. Great job Kadia and Ryan.

- Irma Bauer

I would like to place a drop in the bucket of Ms. J'me Washburn. She works incredibly hard everyday to support our students who are most in need. She is also ALWAYS willing to help me at a moments' notice. She never says no or that things can't be done. She finds a way to get even the most complex tasks accomplished. Thank you J'me for all that you do.

- Mario Acosta

Shout out to 8th grade science for opening their rooms to us so that students can have a quiet space to test, much appreciated!

-Katie Peloquin

Drops to all the teachers whose doors I've had to knock on for S.S.I. They have been so flexible and generous with sharing the students.

- Casey Gembicki

I am grateful for my 6th Grade team. Thank you Akea Powell, Marco Baeza, and Elisa Klepper for helping me support our students!

- Sofie Vastano

A HUGE drop for Christine Gonzales-Dejohn. She was out for a few days and left me this note "I have acquired substitutes from the preferred list for all three days. I have left my lesson plans, copies of the worksheet, the bell schedule and student rosters on my desk. I have checked out a Laptop from the library for the use of the substitutes. The laptop and projector are set-up and ready to go. I have also attached the lesson plans and worksheet to this e-mail. If you have any questions, you can contact me on my cell at ..." Thank you so much for making it such a successful opportunity for your substitute and class!!!!

To Cherri Urban! I called one day scrambling for a laptop that a sub would be needing. Ms. Cherri completely took over and said she'd handle the delivery of the laptop. Thank you so much for your graceful attitude and ALL the help!!!

- Marbel Donosso

A drop in the bucket for Alli Bivone for organizing and flawlessly executing the Instructional Rounds! You are awesome!

- Jeremy Thompson
