TKES Summative Form
Often times, TKES Standards 9 and 10 are difficult to see during walkthroughs and formatives. We know that all of you do many things that support your growth as teacher, but often times, we don’t hear about those amazing things. We like to give you the opportunity to share the way you support your growth and how you communicate and collaborate with your team. Please complete the link below by March 1st so we can make sure we capture these things on your TKES Summative.

IST Meeting Reminder
Just a reminder that we have our next IST meeting on Tuesday, February 27th. We will meet in the conference room as soon as you drop your kids off at Specials. As always, plan notes are due in the RTI Desktop within 24 hours of the meeting. It would be beneficial for you to bring your laptop to the meeting and type in notes as we are talking about your students.
In order to help move the meeting along efficiently, please double check EVERYTHING in the RTI desktop before the meeting.
- If any of your students have changed interventions or new interventions have been added, please make sure this is indicated in the INTERVENTIONS section. See instructions below.
- There have been some issues with the RTI desktop randomly changing the target dates for progress monitoring data. Please make sure that your target dates are all set for the end of the school year: May 25, 2018. See instructions below.

Lunch REMINDER:
Karen Lummus and the Father Daughter Dance committee have kindly asked if students could eat in their classroom on Friday February 23rd. This would be a tremendous help so they can get the café decorated for that night. We appreciate your understanding!

Adding Chrome Extensions
All faculty and staff (not students) now have the ability to add extensions from an approved list to their Chrome web browser! Note that extensions will NOT work on a phone or tablet.
Some words of caution:
The only extensions that can be installed are the ones on the list. Because I can't possibly know every extension that every teacher would want, I have also created a Form that can be used to suggest new extensions that teachers would like to be added to the list.

This will work best if you log in to your Chrome browser so that extensions can be used on different devices. If instructions are needed, you can see them below:
Don't go crazy and start installing all the extensions just because they're available! Find the ones that work for you because you NEED them. The joy of this is that YOU get to choose what you need. There's no need to have everything just because you can.
Lastly, go slow. To help with troubleshooting in case something DOES go wrong, it's helpful to install only 1-2 extensions at a time. Use those for a few hours or days and then install a couple more. That way, if it seems like some don't play nice together, it's easier to track back to figure out which ones to remove. ENJOY!!!

Updating Classes
Teachers will need to update their rosters in BrainPop & BrainPop Jr when new students enroll. To do this, the teacher should click on My Classes, Manage Classes, Update Roster.
