Week Four Learning Outcomes

This week students will:
  • Apply the socio-cultural history of a culture students might encounter in the classroom to a cultural immersion experience.
  • Connect low-socio economic status to race, gender, and ethnicity and debate the usefulness of attaching the concept of poverty to “culture.”
  • Debate the usefulness of attaching the concept of poverty to “culture.”
