Great Kindness Challenge Photo
On Friday January 27, our school will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge Photo. We are asking that students wear a specific color t-shirt or shirt based on their grade level. Our goal is to create a rainbow surrounding a heart for the photo.
- Fifth Grade students wear red
- Fourth Grade students wear orange
- Third Grade students wear yellow.
- Second Grade students wear green.
- First Grade students wear blue.
- Tk and Kindergarten students wear violet/purple.
If your child doesn't have the grade level specific color, they can wear a light-colored or white t-shirt.
Moxie Box Art After School Enrichment for grades K-5
Rio Vista is offering Moxie Box Art after school enrichment for the next 6 weeks! Please see the attached flyer and call the PSUSD Expanded Learning Department to sign up! 760-325-8764
Grades 3-5 Reading Buddies
Is your child in grades 3-5 and looking to practice their reading skills, or just loves animals? Palm Springs Animal Shelter is looking for Reading Volunteers, starting 1/24 on Tuesdays from 3-4pm. This will be a 4 week session. Parents/family must transport the student after school for this program.
