Book Bowl
We are excited the “Book Bowl” will take place again this year! Each elementary school can enter teams of students in grades 2, 3, and 4 to read up to 25 books (from an established list) and then demonstrate their knowledge of the books in a fun celebration of reading. The celebration will take place at Council Rock High School South on March 12, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. A link to the permission form will be emailed by your child's teacher, and if interested, the completed form will be due by January 15, 2020. We look forward to reading!

A Friendly Reminder from Our School Nurses, Mrs. Kaufmann and Mrs. Ernest:
What do FLU, STOMACH VIRUS, AND COLDS all have in common?
Answer:
1. They are all illnesses that we are currently experiencing at MMW.
2. All are acquired through direct contact with bodily secretions and/or respiratory droplets.
3. The chances of acquiring these diseases can be greatly reduced by GOOD and FREQUENT handwashing!
- Soap and water is always best, but Purell and other hand sanitizers also work.
- Cover coughs and sneezes properly, throw used tissues in the trash and wash hands.
- Cough into your elbow, wear a clean shirt every day.
4. If you are sick, STAY HOME! We love you and your children, but we don’t love your germs!
5. Council Rock School District policy reserves the right to exclude children from school with the following conditions:
- -Fever of 100 F or higher. Students may return when fever free for 24 hours, without the use of fever reducing medications.
- -Diarrhea or vomiting during the previous 24 hours.
- -Rash with a fever.
- -Illness that prevents a child from participating in normal activities.
Experts are saying that it is not too late to get a flu shot- something to consider!
Did You Remember to Update your Home Access Demographics?
If you haven't done so already, please Update your demographic information in HAC. This is mandatory for each student you have enrolled in the district and must be completed annually. Council Rock must have this information to remain compliant with state and federal guidelines. More important is that we need to have accurate student information when dealing with our students.
To update your student’s demographic information:
1) Log in to your HAC account,
2) click the Registration icon at the top of the page,
3) Navigate to the Update Registration tab,
4) Click NEW or start a new form,
5) Make any updates necessary for:
a) Student information
b) Student Contact information
c) Your contact information and/or address,
d) Medical, Childcare & Other Information (including ability for school nurse
to administer Tylenol)
Please contact the Central Registration Department at Registration@CRSD.org with all questions.
