Monthly Memo from the Principal

Mrs. Robbins- December 2019

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

December may be my favorite month of the whole year! It is filled with opportunities to come together as a community and it has time for us to spend with family and loved ones. We also get time to rest, reflect, and start new in January. The best of all worlds.

As a former teacher, current parent and principal, I know how important those days during the holiday break are for us all. We will be off starting December 23rd and returning to school on Tuesday, January 7th. Teachers start back that Monday and will be able to plan and get ready for students to return the next day.

Please be on the lookout for all of the fun events going on at school and through our PTA. As always, look for emails, weekly updates, Facebook, Twitter, and our school website for details. Ms. Joanna (our receptionist) and Ms. Laura (our administrative assistant) are both out on personal leave, so please contact the front office if you have any questions or have any needs. We are here to help! Wishing you all a very restful, merry, and bright holiday season!

Get to know your PTA!!!

At PHE we are so thankful for our PTA board members and all of their hard work so far this year. Please see pictures below to put a face with the name and position they hold.

Interested in a position for next year? Please reach out to any of our board members and let them know of your interest. We have a few open positions that you may enjoy for the spring and get you ready to serve next year. Contact them at

Want to help support our campus and you are still not a PTA member? Visit our PHE PTA facebook site and click on the form or link. We still need you! Single memberships are $6.50 and double memberships are $11.00. You can also get a membership and t-shirt bundle for $15.00. Again, email if you have any questions.

Reserved- Handicapped Parking at PHE

Friendly reminder...please do not use the reserved/handicapped parking spots in front of PHE unless you have the appropriate plates or placards to do so legally. This is intended for parking and coming into the building. This is not a drop off area. Parents who would like to drop off their students and not enter the building need to use the car rider line in the back of the building. We have several students and parents who require these spots in order to access our building.

Students should NEVER be dropped off in any parking lot on our campus. They either need to be walked in with a parent or dropped off in the car rider line. Please contact Ms. Robbins if you have any questions.

Husky Holiday- Elf Shelf Store this week!

The holidays are coming, and we want to help make the season even more special for your children by giving them the opportunity to shop (in secret!) for the perfect gift for Mom, Dad, grandparents, siblings, and other important people. We'll be holding our Husky Holiday Shop from Dec. 3-6 during school hours, with late shopping hours on Wednesday, Dec. 4. It's truly one of the nicest holiday experiences to help our students enjoy this season of giving! Please contact PHE PTA if you have any questions.

Congratulations to our PTA Reflections "Look Within" Winners!

These students will be moving on to our district level with their entries. Wishing them all the best of luck as they move forward and represent PHE!

Breakfast with Santa is coming! Do you have your tickets???
