Flint Male Chorus
The Flint Male Chorus was organized in 1943 as the Chevrolet Flint Male Chorus. At that time, most of the men were employed by the Chevrolet Manufacturing division of General Motors Corp. in Flint. Today, 62 years later, the singers come from all walks of life in Flint and the surrounding communities.
The Chorus performs music of many styles and periods, including spirituals, folk music and musical theater, as well as traditional sacred and secular pieces. Averaging 30 to 40 voices strong annually, the men sing for churches and for business, civic, and private groups throughout Mid-Michigan. The Chorus averages between 15 and 20 performances per season.
A member of the Associated Male Choruses of America and the Great Lakes Male Chorus Association, the Flint Male Chorus has performed in International Sings at Winnipeg, Manitoba; Marquette Michigan; and Buffalo, New York; and state and regional Big Sings.
The Flint male Chorus is proudly housed in the state of the art : Swartz creek Performing Arts Center, Swartz Creek High School Michigan.

Norton Male Chorus
The Michigan Singing Knights
The Flint Area Knights of Columbus Male Chorus was established in 1964 as a recreational arm of Council #695 K of C Flint. During subsequent years, membership in the “Singing Knights” was opened to any Knights of Columbus member from the Flint area. The membership today represents Michigan K of C councils in Grand Blanc, Burton, North Branch, Ortonville, Davison, Swartz Creek, Flushing, and Mt. Morris.
The group has performed for many functions of the Knights of Columbus in Michigan such as KC night at Tiger Stadium, Cobo Hall for the International K of C convention and the state convention on Mackinac Island. The Singing Knights have also been privileged to sing at Catholic Mass in many cathedrals and churches in the state. In 1982, the group traveled to Washington, D.C., to sing at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Knights of Columbus. While there, it also performed at various Washington veterans’ hospitals. The chorus has also performed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with the only other known K of C male chorus in America. This year the group held its 30th annual Cabaret (Spring Show and Dinner Dance) in May 2012, a show that has sold out every performance for the past fifteen years.
The Singing Knights value its membership in the GLMCA and look forward each year to take part with the members of the organization in the advancement of male chorus singing in Michigan.

Lapeer County Concert Choir
The Lapeer County Concert Choir has been performing since 1968, known for its performances of large sacred works such as Bach's "Magnificat", Handel's "Messiah", Rutter's "Requiem", and Mozart's "Regina Coeli".
The Choir has been invited to perform for a 4th time in the Spring 2016 Flint Festival of Choirs hosted by the Carolyn Mawby Chorale.
As the choir moves toward its 50th year, the goal remains to promote the advancement of choral music, and reveal the healing power of voices united in song.
If you wish to join us, we rehearse on Monday nights in Lapeer.
The Fenton lakes Chorus
The Fenton Lakes Chorus is a group of women singers who perform four part harmony in the Barbershop style. These women range in ages from 20 to 75. A diverse group that enjoy each other for their individual contributions to the team.
The Fenton Lakes Chorus was established in 1983. Current Director, Jeanne Lundberg took the reigns in 1990. Since that time, the chorus has consistantly placed in the top 5 at the Regional Level, First place in our division and we have earned two Silver Medals in the Harmony Classic International Competition!
The Fenton Lakes Chorus is dedicated to excellence in music and performance. Membership is open to all women serious about singing quality music in a fun and educational atmosphere.
The hightlight of our music season is our Regional Competition in the Spring. Held in a variety of cities, Dearborn, Grand Rapids, and London, Ontario to name a few. This is where the chorus can show the judging panel what we've learned over the past year and prove our dedication to our craft.
