What makes us a great choice in decorating courses?
Price
While other classes require you to bring in basic needs such as your own cake and fillings, parchment, cardboard rounds, boxes, and more, we cover it all!
All you have to bring is your decorating tools! Don't have any? Don't worry! You can rent ($25) or purchase ($75) toolkits hand picked and packed by our team. Each kit has the same professional grade tools we use in our kitchen!
Need to upgrade to a bigger set? Enjoy additional piping tips and spatulas for an additional cost. Need more? We have a kit even bigger than that!
If you find you've forgotten one or two tools before class, feel free to use our per piece renting service. It starts at $2.00 per tool (depending on the tool) and is used towards your purchase of the tool should you decide to keep it!
Hannah and Bryan
Prepare for laughs with Bryan's wit. He's a sharp one!
Hannah is a very patient tutor who is willing to pause the course for an individual who needs a little extra help. You won't find that in any other class!
After training in two schools, entering her fair share of competitions, and even landing her first major cake on Good Morning America last year, Hannah perfectly balances her business life and personal life. When she isn't baking, she's a super mom to a diabetic 4 year old, a bride-to-be to her business partner Matthew, and a cosplay model.
Bryan, one of Hannah's closest friends since junior high school, is the Assistant Pastry Chef in training for 8 Bit Bakeshop. As an additional cosplay model for 8 Bit, he also uses his wit to woo over even the fussiest consumer. Pick his brain for advice on customer service ethics or just sit by him as he learns in class with you!
The Entrepreneur Space
Tour the premises during your break and explore the ways ESpace has transformed the lives of many local NYC businesses and families. This may just be your chance to take the next step for your home business or hobby!
Frequently Asked Questions
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for seat purchases. But, you are welcome to change the date of your course or send another person in your place by emailing us the class you would like to switch to or the name of the person joining. Please be aware, with the exception of Butter Cream Basics and Fondant Basics, the courses will not repeat very often. One class you sign up for today may not be here next month! Rescheduled class requests made less than 48 hours before the course will not be honored or refunded. No shows and late comers will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Can I bring the kids?
The Entrepreneur Space has strict guidelines about children on the premises. Unfortunately, you must be at least 16 to join our class. We have very intention of creating a youth course at a different venue in the near future. Sign up for our mailing list on our website for updates!
I am allergic to a particular medium this class is using. What do I do?
During your seat booking process, you will encounter an area where you can tell us your allergies. We will make every reasonable accommodation for you. However, if you are sensitive to something even just sitting in the same room, please consider booking a 1-on-1 course instead. Email us for more info!
What is a 1-on-1 course?
starting at $125, you can book a single 2-2.5 hour course with Hannah. You are taught slowly and patiently the techniques you wish to master or can choose from a list of personalized courses that will get you well on your way to decorating confidence. You still get to take your project home and walk away with a little "homework" to test what you have learned!
This is so much fun! Can I book a class for my friends?
Yes! If you would like a private lesson for you and your best chums feel free to email us for a quote! We will work out a date and time that works best for you. Private courses must have 10 students and lessons are picked from a list of personalized courses. But you're so awesome and popular your only issue should be what 9 friends to bring!
*Please be aware that there is no smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages allowed on the premises. A ten minute break is given after the crumb coat stage. Please arrive to class on time. Refunds will not be given to late comers and no shows.*
