Marching Band Pictures

As a follow up to our final Marching Band performance of this school year, there are some fantastic photographs of our Fall season available to purchase from NeoSportsPix. The link to view this (and MANY other Saint Ignatius sports/events) are here:

St. Patrick's Day Wrap Up

A significant thank you to everyone for our fantastic performance this past Thursday. I was immensely proud of everything the students and chaperones accomplished. The band had some fantastic renditions of our music, the Flag Corps did a terrific job especially with all of the wind, and our clean up process was smooth.

Soon we will send out the Marching Band uniforms to the dry cleaners to get cleaned up in anticipation of next year.

It was a great way to close our marching band chapter on this school year. Now, we all look forward to this upcoming Summer!

St. Patrick's Day Video

On Thursday we had a duo of professional videographers taking video of our entire parade performance. The school picked up the cost of this project for two large reasons. First, we need a high quality video to submit to Walt Disney World for our trip next year. Second, the school is planning to utilize all of this film in future video productions to highlight our recent success. I'm thrilled to see how it is utilized, and look forward to our final product!

Some parents have asked if they can get a copy of what is ultimately created. I'm not 100% sure, but hope the answer is yes. When I have more information, I will absolutely share it with you all.

Flag Corps Reminders

The dates for the 2016/2017 clinics and tryouts for Flag Corps have been set! There will be a dance and flag clinic on April 19th and 21st, with auditions taking place on April 26th. All events will be from 6pm-8pm in the Breen Center for the Performing Arts.

Please note the date change of the actual tryouts! Due to a conflict with St. Joseph Academy, we opted to change the date of this event to Tuesday, one day earlier; the same time and place.

Fliers with all of this information have been mailed out! All of your help in spreading the word is GREATLY appreciated! We want this audition process to set the bar for an exciting season!

Another reminder that Flag Corps Leadership Applications are due April 19th.

If you have questions, please contact Ms. Seryak.
