STUDENTS IN QUARANTINE
If students are absent from F2F instruction due to isolation, quarantine, or Covid - teachers will make the decision on how missing work is communicated and completed. All students will have the opportunity to check in with their teachers remotely, Monday through Thursday, from 2:00pm-3:00pm, for any assistance in completing assignments.
Another option that the district supports is having teachers “remote” students into the classroom. Remoting students into the classroom will depend on the course, content, lesson, teacher, etc. We are leaving this decision up to the individual teacher. If a teacher feels the lesson lends itself to having a student remote into the classroom, then they will give instructions to the student on how to log in.
GUIDELINES FOR IN PERSON SCHOOL DAYS
- Failure to comply with proper mask-wearing will result in school discipline.
- Breakfast is available upon arrival at school (7:50-8:05 am) and may be eaten when the student arrives at their 1st-hour class. Students should expect to wear their mask between bites, while chewing.
- Lunch will continue to be provided as a grab & go on the way out of the school building, at the end of each day. Students will not eat lunch at school.
4. Teachers will establish and enforce seating charts in all classrooms. This will assist with any potential contact tracing that could result from a positive COVID case in a classroom.
5. The Google Meet time scheduled Monday through Thursday during the afternoon is not mandatory for students. This time is designated for additional support for students who need it. This time will be especially useful for students in quarantine.
6. The Friday remote schedule is required for ALL STUDENTS and attendance will be taken by the teachers. This day will include live instruction.
7. Doors to the building will open at 7:48am for student drop off. Students are asked to stay in their vehicles until it is time to enter the building.
8. Dress Code and Behavior Reminders:
- No hats/hoods in the building
- Shorts, Skirts, and holes in shredded pants should be BELOW fingertip length
- No cell phones during the school day (building entrance to last bell)
9. We will continue to observe hallway and stairway traffic flow patterns that have been in place since January.
10. Students should have their own set of supplies to avoid having to share. When sharing is necessary, students will be asked to wash/sanitize their hands & items will be sanitized between uses.
11. It is recommended that students bring their own "personal-sized" hand sanitizer to school with them.
12. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and convenient snack (see below) with them to school each day.
