Welcome Back to School!
A message from Rice ISD
Dear Bulldog Community,
High School Updates
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Senior year of high school is an exciting, busy time for both you and your student. We hope, in the months ahead, that you are able to make wonderful memories of this special time before your student heads off to college and/or the workforce. This may also be a time when you begin to have serious conversations about college costs, or how to secure financial aid for college. Although it may seem stressful or confusing, having these conversations and taking action early can simplify the process for your family.

Parent & Family Engagement
Did you know allowing your children to prepare meals is a great learning opportunity for them to practice important math and reading skills? Learning to follow a written recipe, use correct measurements, and follow health and safety guidelines in your kitchen at home help reinforce things they are learning at school.
January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month

Thanksgiving Meals
Each year, with the help of the Chatfield United Methodist Church, Rice ISD is able to provide meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas to families in our district. This year, we were able to help provide 47 meals at Thanksgiving and 38 meals at Christmas. In addition to the meals, we were also able to provide gifts for 14 families and 38 children thanks to donations and support from the community. We would not be able to help these families without community support. Thank you for your continued contributions!!
