Screen time and the impact on our children
Dear Families,
In collaboration across schools, CLES, BMMS and CHS are presenting a screening of the movie SCREENAGERS. Our goal is to engage our community (parents, students, and teachers) in conversations around the technology topics highlighted in SCREENAGERS that are meaningful for our families. We are here to process the information in the documentary by asking questions, sharing ideas, and sharing stories with one another in order to help navigate the ever complex world of raising and educating teenagers.
Some questions we might consider include:
How does social media affect our relationships positively and negatively?
How do you think personal digital devices has affected our social skills and self-worth?
How do video games impact your family positively and negatively?
What strategies do you use to help your child(ren) navigate social media and the potential impact on their mental health?
