Mr. Budisch's Bright Lights

What an amazing start for our school!

Ready Set Go!

The kids were very ready to go! In the review of our first week of class, it appears to me the children had a more comfortable feeling to step into their new classrooms. Meeting the teachers via the reading assessment process seemed to provide a means for kids to learn about what the teacher was like. Thanks so much for your cooperation and your trust in us. It has been terrific!

Communicating with the Principals

In an effort to keep you informed about all that is happening in our school, there are a number of ways to "be in the know". Our Friday Flyer, the SMORE from me, Twitter, and my email. You can also sign up for information via text . I'll be sharing more about these communication methods in our first Principals' Chat on Thursday, September 10th at the 3:00 PTO meeting at the Primary School. I hope to see you there.

Our first assembly next week!

Each month, on the second Wednesday, we have an all-school assembly in our cafeteria. During our assemblies we have different topics that are presented. Sometimes we use videos, or have guests, or our own children show their work. Our assemblies begin promptly at 8:50 AM. We meet the children as usual on the playground and go directly to the cafeteria. Please try to be on time like you always do. Please do not take your children to the classroom as their classmates won't be there. During this time, our teachers are working on strategies for our intervention blocks. Thanks!

What an easy way to support our schools!

BOX TOPS! Just find 'em and cut 'em out-a little trimming really helps our PTO volunteers who count these before we send them in. We bundle them in bunches of 50. The company wants them trimmed just right. We thank you so much for your support, cooperation , and making this fundraiser a success.

A little bit of fun on a Saturday!

Barn Bash and Golf Outing is Saturday, September 19th

We hope that you can join us for the Barn Bash and Golf Outing at Ironwood Golf Course. Flyers for the event are included in this email. All proceeds will benefit the Primary School Gymnasium Renovation Project. I hope to see you there!

Mike Budisch, principal
