FMS Music Department: Lunch with Legend's Series Continues

This week as part of the FMS Music department's Lunch with Legend's series, students heard from Border CrosSing, a Minneapolis based choral ensemble that is bringing Latinx choral music to audiences throughout the local area. They shared stories and their journey as musicians to this group as well as a few performances. We loved hearing their collaboration with Minnesota Orchestra. Students also got to hear from Yamaha performing artist and Nashville based educator Jeff Coffin. Saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band and 3 time GRAMMY award winner with Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Coffin shared with students a look into his home studio and played a few tunes for them. Thanks for joining us Jeff and Border CrosSing!
