Principal's Points
Be sure that your child is communicating with your teachers weekly for attendance purposes. That can be via google meet, email, phone call, turning in work, etc. We have to submit at least two communication logs per child, per week to the state of Michigan for pupil accounting.
At this time, the plan is to be back in person on Wednesday, December 9th. If that happens, morning arrival will have one small change, 4th grade students will go to their rooms for arrival and 5th grade students will go to the gym for arrival. As always breakfast is available, no matter which option you choose.
Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, it is cold outside so hats, gloves, snow pants, jacket should all be worn. If it's snowy, then be sure to wear or keep a pair of boots at school.

The Giving Tree
The holidays are upon us and the Ludington Area School District would like to ask for your support of our Giving Tree program. This district wide program provides the opportunity for families identified by school staff to shop for their children's needs and wish list items.
Allowing parents and guardians the opportunity to select items for their own children ensures that children will be getting items they truly need and will enjoy.
We know that the world is certainly different than it was this time last year and we appreciate any and all donations. It is our goal to help more than 100 LASD families through this program. Your gift of $125 will support one family this holiday season.
