January 12th

Principal's Notes and Highlights

Happy Friday!

I was invited to read a story to kindergarten students yesterday afternoon. Miss Deyerling and Mrs. Aldrich chose The Night Before the Snow Day by Natasha Wing. Say what you want, but I put today's school closure solely on them. :)

All kidding aside, school will resume next Tuesday, January 16th. There is no school next Monday, January 15th as BCSC is closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

  • Report Cards will now be coming home in backpacks next Tuesday with your student. Please sign and return the envelope indicating you received the report card.
  • Yearbook order forms will be coming home in backpacks on Tuesday. Last year we sold out of all the extra copies so please be sure to complete and return the form on time.
  • The CSA Lincoln Family Night at Kidscommons is canceled for tonight.
  • Next Wednesday is our last regular season basketball game before the playoffs. This past Wednesday the girls were defeated by the undefeated Mt. Healthy team. Our boys improved their win streak to 7 in a row with a win against the Eagles. Both teams will play at Schmitt Elementary on Wednesday. The first round of the playoffs will take place on Monday, January 22nd at Mt. Healthy Elementary. We drew Parkside Elementary in the first round. Our athletes looked really sharp in their brand new uniforms!
