Dear Families,

The holiday season is here, and this time can bring all sorts of feelings to the forefront. Many of us are coming to terms with it looking very different this year, and finding new creative ways to celebrate safely while bringing family together.

I also know that some of us are grieving and experiencing trauma due to a range of circumstances brought on by the pandemic. I wanted to share a very last minute district-hosted presentation on this subject, with strategies for coping for the whole family. It's happening via Zoom tonight at 7pm. Coal Creek YMCA LEAP Program

Schoolhouse Rec!

Starting September 8th, the Issaquah Parks & Community Services is launching a new full-day program to help with online learning. Schoolhouse Rec! is available for students in grades K-5 and will be assigned to a classroom cohort based on their grade. Each cohort will have a dedicated classroom and staff team to help ensure a healthy learning environment. The school day and program calendar will follow the Issaquah School District plan.
