Announcements & Other Exciting Things

  • I hope everyone had a restful Holiday break!
  • Tomorrow is the 80th day of school! Students may wear their 80s attire (make sure to send PE shoes).
  • December reading logs will be collected today. January reading logs and new reading goals will be in take home folders, along with new spelling and vocabulary words.

Reading/ Language Arts

Our story this week is called "A Tree is Growing."

January Book It minutes start over today. There is a new goal listed on the back of the reading log!


We will be moving into division over the course of the next couple weeks. We will also continue testing over our multiplication facts.

Science/ Social Studies

This year, our third grade science skill is "forces" and our third grade social studies skill is Oklahoma History. We will be working on these topics throughout the school year.
