Here is everything you need to know about the Franklin Central Band program right now.

There are two weeks remaining in the marching band season. This includes the awards night, six practices, one “Family Night at the Stadium” and two football games. Find a way to support band, say something nice to a band director, encourage your student or sign up to serve food. When you get involved in your child’s favorite activity, it means so much to them.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a night of celebration of this marching band season at the stadium on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00pm. We will recognize the hard work of our students in spite of uncertain and challenging circumstances. This event is replacing the marching band banquet that would have happened in November but was cancelled. For more details, click here.

On Friday, we will serve a NACHO BAR before the football game. Please let our food lead, Danelle Grimes dcva896@yahoo.com, know if there are any dietary concerns. Our volunteers will be following safety protocols defined by school food services. Food will be placed on plates by volunteers with clean hands wearing gloves and a mask. Students will drink from their water jugs. This meal is only for students. Parents may also drop off food for their student at 5:30pm if desired.

We need 10 volunteers to serve food. You may arrive as late as 5pm to serve if your schedule is tight. Food donations include taco meat, tortilla chips and desserts.

Tickets to the October 2 Varsity Football game versus Fishers go on sale Monday morning, September 28.
