Biomass is...
a thing that is living or was previously living that is reused as an energy source. It is renewable.
Where is biomass found on Earth or is it produced with technology in a factory?
Biomass is found on Earth just about everywhere. For example, a plant is a biomass. A plant is a biomass because of phtotsynthesis (taking energy from the sun and turning it into energy; a food source.). It is reused over and over again.
How does a biomass work to produce energy for individuals and whole groups or communities?
Biomass gives people, individuals or communities, a simple energy source. Some are very easy to access, also.
Are there products created or other uses for a biomass?
Windmills create energy by using the wind. Solar panels get their energy from the sun.
Who uses a biomass now?
Whoever owns a garden, solar panels, windmills, or any other nattural things that produce energy have a biomass in their possesion.
Photosynthesis plays a huge role in biomasses that come from Earth.
Introduction to biomass boilers
Is a biomass expensive?
Products like windmills and solar panels are very pricey. But natural things as simple as the garden in your backyard are practically free.
