Makenna's Bucket List

Hang Loose Over Hawaii

I think that sky-diving would be really fun! But I can't go with any of my friends because they are afraid of heights. The best place to go sky-diving is in Hawaii! As I am jumping off of the plane I would see physical weathering in mountains, and in tides caused by the moon. I would also see mechanical erosion caused by the wind.

The Maldives

I've always wanted to learn how to surf, going to the Maldives would be AWESOME! While I'm surfing I will see the beautiful coast line with physical weathering including waves. Erosion including water and wind moving sand to different locations on the shore.

Arches National Park, Utah

I've always wanted to go camping! It shows that the number one place in the world to go camping is in Arches National Park, Utah! I would love to visit here. The Arches National Park is a great example of physical weathering because of the Arches, its breaking down parts of the sand and forming those arches! It would also be an example of wind erosion, carrying the sand away!

Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

I've also always wanted to swim with sharks! I hear Ecuador has beautiful waters and you can swim with sharks too! As I'm swimming with the sharks, I would see the Andres Mountains caused by physical weathering, and water and wind erosion moving sand in different places!

One thing that I've seen in a lot of movies that I watch is people riding in a hot air balloon! One of the best places to ride a hot air balloon (or so I've heard) is Maasai Mara, Kenya or just go to Kenya. I would want to ride in a hot air balloon because it would be so much fun, it would be just like riding in an airplane but your not closed in. While I'm up in the air I would see mountains formed by physical, wind weathering. And I would also see mechanical erosion cause by wind. I would also love to see all of the animals like giraffes, zebras, and lions!
