GREETINGS FROM MS. SEELEY
Three times per school year, I like to gather feedback formally from families to help us learn and grow. The survey includes three primary themes: communication, events and activities, and safety. Please consider sharing your thoughts via a survey: https://goo.gl/forms/uzfFIZfT76h2Dmzn1. The survey will be open through March 22.

CONGRATULATIONS - STEM COMPETITION
Lizzy Abate, Sarina Smith & Kenny Smith competed at the open STEM competition at the Montgomery School, in Chester Springs, representing East Vincent in the Math Bowl and Engineering Challenges. All three students earned a 2nd place finish for their team in the Math Bowl after a double tie breaker question... it was so close. In the Engineering Challenge, they used materials to create a car that would go the farthest. Excellent work!
CONGRATULATIONS - DOVER SPEEDWAY ART CONTEST
EV has three artists who were selected as finalists for the 2019 Monster Mile Youth Nation Design Challenge. Best wishes to Cecelia Trainer, Brooks Grant, and Lucius Neely!

Call 610-469-5714 to schedule an appointment. Visit the EV Kindergarten registration webpage for all registration document information at https://www.ojrsd.com/Page/9069.
Please note the following:
The Owen J. Roberts School District does not offer full day kindergarten. Students are registered for either a morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) session.
Morning (AM) sessions are often preferred by parents. Student placement in the morning session will be determined by a lottery. To be considered for the morning (AM) session lottery, students must be registered by April 12, 2019. The lotteries will be held during the third week of April, and placement letters will be mailed by Friday, April 26, 2019. Families can request to have their child’s name put on a waiting list for the morning (AM) session. Parents will be notified if an opening occurs. Please be advised that all placements are subject to change depending on final enrollments.

ART GOES TO SCHOOL - MARCH 14-27
ART GOES TO SCHOOL
Dear Families,
An ART GOES TO SCHOOL volunteer will be visiting your child’s art class in the next couple of weeks. Sometime between March 14-27, your child will see, discuss and have some fun with reproductions of the famous artworks listed below. Your child may not get to see all of them, but why not ask about a favorite? You can also visit our website to view these selections so you can share together.
Our volunteers have a wonderful time in the ART GOES TO SCHOOL program. You do not need any experience to volunteer, as our program is designed to enable you to both learn and share. It’s great fun! Want to learn more? Click on the link below to see some of the venues we have explored as a group (choose the More icon and select the Learning and Sharing tab). Also on view are samples of our current Portfolio under the 2018-19 Gallery tab. Please visit http://artgoestoschoolojr.myfreesites.net/ .
If you would like more information about joining AGTS, please email Carrie at artgoestoschoolojr@yahoo.com
or call Joanne at 610-326-6357.
TRIMESTER TWO DATES
We completed the second third of our school year. The second trimester ended yesterday on Friday, March 8. Report cards will be available on Tuesday, March 19 in the later afternoon via Skyward.
