Your WestWood PTC Update
April 2018 (Elsa, will you please bring back summer?!)
We interrupt this Spring with snow delays...
The WestWood PTC needs YOUR help! We are now planning for the 2018-19 school year (*gasp*) and are seeking individuals who wish to make a difference and join our board! Attend one of our few remaining monthly meetings (schedule below) or reach out to us for more information about the board positions or coordinator roles available for next year. Don't be shy! We love new faces, new ideas, and happy helpers!
Butter Braid order pickups are rescheduled to Tuesday, April 10th. Thanks for your patience with the snow day! Top sellers who earned a lunch with Principal Zwolenski will be notified. (And thanks again to Kelly Malecha for re-organizing this delicious fundraiser!)
Milk Moola is Kwik Trip's program of collecting cap or bag tops from Kwik Trip and Kwik Star's Nature's Touch products. Similar to box tops, you save them, wash them, and send them to school with your child and PTC turns them into CASH - like magic! There is a collection box in the front lobby for Milk Moola and box tops. Jen Knox and Jennifer Reimers kindly coordinate this for us - thank you!
MusicFest is one of the largest outdoor music festivals in the metro area of the Twin Cities. Featuring two nights of live music, MusicFest entertains AND benefits our community.
Proceeds benefit the Prior Lake Rotary Foundation, supporting educational, humanitarian and environmental activities in the Prior Lake community, nationally, and worldwide. Proceeds from the event are also shared with non-profit partners (like us!). Concert nights are July 13th and 14th, 2018. Plan some fun summer events NOW!
- Volunteers needed! Consider volunteering at MusicFest and get free entrance both nights! http://musicfest.ivolunteer.com/ptcvols_004 and select "WestWood" in the drop-down to benefit our school.
- Tickets for sale! For MusicFest Tickets that benefit WestWood PTC, use our direct link: http://www.tempotickets.com/ptcwestwood
Enjoy live music! http://www.lakefrontmusicfest.com for details.
Thank you for your support of this Prior Lake Rotary event and the WestWood PTC.
Conference Dinners will be provided to our wonderful teachers and staff, working diligently to meet with all of our WestWood parents. Thank you to Gina Gertner for coordinating this, and to everyone who has signed up to contribute. It is SO appreciated! Openings are still available to help or contribute! http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b044dafab2e5-spring
Lost and Found items will be on display at conferences - please check for any items that may belong to your children! All unclaimed items will be donated. Thank you to the volunteers who are helping with this overload of items!
