Goal Groups
This year you were given the opportunity to reflectively set and own your professional goal. You are moving through your action steps, gathering resources and reflecting about your growth and your students' progress. The TPG/SLO (Teacher Professional Goal/Student Learning Outcome) process is inherently personal and a way for you to focus your own growth, but personal doesn't mean isolated or alone. Our district culture is founded on teamwork and collaboration. Goal Groups are another way for you to connect to each other, build community, and learn together!
Goal Group Overview
All the details on how to join, what is available & participation guides!
Goal Groups will give you a place to connect with teachers across PISD working towards the same goal!
STEP ONE: Think about your goal & how it might connect!
Your goal is uniquely yours-but it may also connect to work other teachers are doing across the district. Some of our teachers have offered to share their goal to help us launch our thinking on making connections. As you read through, you may see your reflection in their goals!

Step Three: Set up or Login to Google Classroom
All of the groups will be facilitated in Google Classroom. We chose this platform to make sure that this learning is facilitated in a safe space where every member has made the choice to join and committed to following the group's norms.

Google Classroom Code: ogaaae
STEP FIVE: Learn Together!
The direction of the learning will be decided by the posts, questions, feedback and resources that you share with the group! Groups will be open through the end of April, and at that time you will have the opportunity to request Professional Learning credit, provide feedback and make suggestions on how we can make this experience better for you!
