LMS Tiger Talk
September 23, 2022
Principal's Message
Fall is definitely in the air and it feels to be sweater-weather time. Not sure about you, but I know I'm ready for the 90-degree days to be a thing of the past for now and welcome the cooler temperatures. A happy fall to you all.
I want to give a quick shout-out to our friends of the Loveland M/INT PTSA. They are a wonderful support to our students, staff, and school and we so appreciate their partnership. If you have not already signed up to be a member, please consider doing so. Your membership dues contribute to ongoing programs and incentives for our students and staff that are not possible without funding from the PTSA. More information can be found below.
Additionally, as you may have heard, Princeton High School entered lockdown this morning, after a hoax 911 reporting an active shooter. At least two other Ohio schools have received similar hoax threats today. We want to reassure our Loveland families that we have robust safety plans in place that would allow us to respond to any safety concerns, and in the event of an emergency, we will always work to communicate with families as quickly as possible.
Please remind your kids that if they have safety concerns, they should reach out to trusted adults at school - if they see something, they should say something. In light of recent events, it’s also a good idea to remind them that false reports can carry serious consequences.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact me.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
Take care and Go Tigers!

Loveland City School District Earns 5-Star Report Card
Loveland City School District is excited to announce the results of the 2021-2022 Ohio School Report Card. The district scored a 5-star rating in every category. This performance Places the District in the Top 2% in Ohio!
“This is a tremendous achievement for Loveland City School District, and a testament to the hard work of our students and their families, and the outstanding support offered by our outstanding staff,” Superintendent Mike Broadwater said.
Loveland City School District earned five stars in every component of the Ohio School Report Card, including Achievement, Early Literacy, Gap Closing, Graduation Rate, and Progress. Loveland City School District is only one of 12 districts across the state of Ohio to earn all five-star ratings, placing the district in the top 2% in Ohio.
“Two goals of our #beLOVEland Strategic Vision are student success and fiscal responsibility. Being able to achieve at a high level while keeping a close eye on the bottom line is further evidence that we are delivering a fantastic educational value for our Loveland City Schools community. We look forward to their continuing support,” Broadwater said.

M/INT PTSA News
Join MINT PTSA
When you join the MINT PTSA you have the opportunity to join at different levels. This basic level is $25, but if you can donate more to our fundraiser you can join at the $50, $75, or $100 level or give more through the open donation category. As parents on the board we know it isn’t fun to have to sell popcorn, wrapping paper, or cookie dough. So we are being straightforward and simply asking for your financial support. We are committed to being responsible and thoughtful with the MINT PTSA budget. You are always welcome to come to a meeting or ask questions if you want to know more.
If you have already joined the MINT PTSA, but would like to donate to our fundraiser please use the “open donation” category.
Remember your donation to our One & Done fundraiser and membership drive also enters you in the raffle for 4 Bengals tickets on Nov 6th at 1pm. The more you donate the more entries to the raffle you earn.
Homeroom Donut Party
This week’s homeroom donut party winner is Aubrey Hicks in Mrs. Stagg’s 8th grade Tiger Time.
