In The Dock, I want to reemphasize the InterNet Quiz for your children. Doing this at home is an opportunity to spend some time with your child talking about the Bible. You also get to see what your child is learning. I am going to be placing an emphasis on this in the coming year. Find the Quiz here.

In March the children will learn about the 10 Commandments. Week 1 will focus on the first 4 commandments as the children learn that God loves them and they should love God. Week 2 the children will learn they are to love mom and dad as they cover the 5th commandment. Week 3 will be all about the last 5 commandments. We need to learn to love others. Finally, in week 4, your children will learn how important it is to obey.
As a preview for what happens in the Kids Doc when your children get a bit older. We spend 28 weeks on the 10 commandments as we delve really deep into learning what they mean and how Jesus saves us from our sin.
In preschool, your children will be exposed to the 10 commandments each year. I am a big believer in repetition as a key to learning!
