Dublin Grizzell Middle School
March 19th, 2021
Principal's Message
As we move through the month of March, next week is our last week before spring break. I am hoping that everyone will have the chance to relax and rest up for the home stretch! I am looking forward to some of our spring events including the 8th Grade Event and May Madness. Student should be getting information from our student council by next week as to what May Madness will look like this year.
Please enjoy the weekend, perhaps some NCAA basketball, and know that we value and appreciate your continued support throughout the school year.

Dublin Robotics Team
The Dublin Robotics Team 5736, the TechnoBotz participated in the virtual Ohio First Lego League Championship with 55 teams from across Ohio on March 13. The competition consisted of a 30 minute virtual presentation of the team's robot design, innovation project, and core values. The team also submitted videos of their robot runs over the past three weeks, as part of the robot game. The team placed in the top 10 scores for the robot game, won the Robot Design award, and was nominated to represent Ohio in the First Lego League Global Innovation competition.
Congratulations to team members and GMS students Marshall Kong, Isabella Marshall, Sahithi Sadineni, Ronith Vantipalli, and Vanshika Surapaneni.
Please congratulate these students on a job well done representing Dublin at state competition.

Student Drop Off & Pick Up
- We would prefer that students are dropped off as close as possible to our 8:28 start time. We will be releasing those students who arrive early at 8:18. We have different drop off locations according to grade levels, so if you have students in both groups, please choose one of these areas and communicate the plan with your student.
6th Grade: The 6th graders should be dropped off using the larger North lot and they will enter through the main entrance. Please see the video below of what this process should look like.
7th & 8th Grade: The 7th and 8th grade drop off will remain in the current location in the smaller West lot. Please see the video below of what this process should look like.
PICK UP
- We will have a staggered release of students at the end of the day to avoid congestion in the hallways. We plan on releasing those students being picked up around 3:12. We have different pick up locations according to grade levels, so if you have students in both groups, please choose one of these areas and communicate the plan with your student.
