NWEA MAP Growth Test
We encourage you to watch the three minute video linked below and reach out to your students English or Math teacher if you have questions.
PLEASE SPEAK WITH YOUR STUDENT:
We have been made aware of a viral “bathroom challenge” or “devious lick” circulating on Tik Tok, where students are encouraged to vandalize school property and steal random items from their campus. This challenge is impacting neighboring districts and schools across the state, creating thousands of dollars of damage and sometimes closing bathroom facilities for repairs.
We ask that you please take time to speak with your student about the impact of this destructive trend on our campus, staff, and our facilities. Please encourage your student to utilize the StopIt anonymous reporting system to help us address and deter these destructive acts. StopIt can be accessed at https://www.misd.gs/student-life/see-it-hear-it-stop-it
Also, please reiterate that students caught engaging in behavior such as this can face serious disciplinary consequences as well as be financially responsible for property damage and/or theft.
Thank you for your collective efforts in speaking with your student about the importance of respecting school property and/or reporting vandalism as we work together to foster pride in our schools.
Student Expectations

Homecoming Community Pep Rally!
October 13th is the National Day of Testing.
We will have the following tests starting at 8:30 a.m. for our 12th grade students: TSI, ASVAB, College and Career Session.
Seniors will need to choose one of the options. If they choose TSI, there is a $5.00 fee to take the test.
Seniors will need to complete the form by September 17th so that we have enough time to order the appropriate testing materials.A google form was sent to the seniors today (9/9) and they must opt in to one of three choices using their school email address.
The counselors attended each Senior English class on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and went into further detail with the students about their options for the national day of testing.
