art lesson
In this week’s art lesson we are going to make an abstract artwork. An abstract artwork is one that uses lines, shapes and colors to represent a feeling or idea related to real life objects. Sometimes abstract ideas are easy to recognize, and other times the artwork doesn’t look like anything we know in real life. Artist Romero Britto used an abstract, pop-art style to express feelings of love, hope, and happiness.
First, watch the video demonstration all the way through.
Gather your supplies, listed below
Watch the demo video again and pause/rewatch to work on each step at your own pace.
