New Faces in the District

Bethany Massey, Elementary Principal

Hi, my name is Bethany Massey and I am your new South Routt Elementary Principal. Prior to this year I have been serving as the Director of Assessment and Technology for Summit School District. My husband James and I have two children, Asher (age 4) and Reed (age 1). We look forward to meeting you and being a part of the South Routt community.

Catherine Page, High School Science

My name is Catherine Page and I am thrilled to be the new science teacher at Soroco High School! I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Tulsa. During that time I studied the host-parasite relationship between the cliff swallow and swallow bug in Ogallala, NE under the direction of Dr. Charles Brown. After graduation, I worked as a professor at Tulsa Community College teaching Introduction to Biology for Majors. I decided to switch to teaching in a high school in an effort to make a positive impact on student's lives. I'm excited to be here and looking forward to educating the amazing students of Soroco High School.

Nathaniel Taur, Middle and High School Health

I was born and raised in Colorado along the front range and recently moved to Oak Creek in order to spend more time in the Rocky Mountains camping, hiking, and meditating. I graduated from CU Boulder in 2013 with my bachelor's degree in Communications. Just last year I received my teacher's license in physical education k-12. Some other hobbies I enjoy include soccer, yoga, painting, snowboarding, and playing board games with friends and family.
